A visitor arrives for the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show held here at Eddie Andreini Sr. Airfield. The Cessna 170B was introduced in 1952, featuring a new wing carried over from the military L-19 version of the 170. The B model was equipped with very effective Fowler wing flaps which deflect up to 40°, a wing design that lives on in Cessna light singles of today. The 170B was marketed in 1952 for $7245 ($77K in 2019 dollars). Over 5,100 were produced from 1948–1956. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm.
