9/1/13: Patient is agitated again-- this time he's obsessed about a walrus in Vladivostok. His consumption of cannabis sativa has gotten  completely out of hand. A 'walrus in Vladivostok' is a pretty wild concept, even for a long-time stoner. It's probably something Putin has planted in Patient's head. I think enough time has now elapsed since Patient's last course of minor tranquilizer to allow another week's prescription  of Ativan without flirting with addiction.
Meantime, I had to come up with a cunning means of keeping patient off weed. I said: "By the way, the Secret Service have been training  Bo and Sunny as drug-sniffing dogs." Patient stared at me, wide-eyed and mute. "Those bastards," was all he said.   ---Dictated by Dr. S.H. Rink.
