Story: Carry On starts when uninspired TSA agent Ethan Kopek (Egerton) pushes for a new chance at work. His boss Phil Sarkowski (Norris) reluctantly agrees to let him run the X-ray desk. However, Ethan learns today will change when he gets a mysterious call from a man known only as the Traveler (Bateman).

Ethan is forced to follow his instructions and help a bag slip past and get on board a plane. The Traveler has a team to make sure things go as planned and holds a weapon on his girlfriend Nora (Carson). Ethan has no choice but to help but question the consequences of his actions.

Verdict on Carry On

Recap

The movie follows a TSA agent who is forced to help a businessman get a package through customs. He must figure out what to do and how to get the job done properly. However, the Traveler is pulling the strings and the race against time is on.

Best Parts

The movie uses the contained environment to create the tension used through the movie. It falls into the selection of one person being forced to break all the rules to save loved ones. We have seen this idea plenty of times and it is always an effective and enjoyable process. We get a great cast and different twists to the story. One of the biggest scenes which I do not if I loved, hated or just laughed at involves a car fight. There is also a real-time factor to the story which adds to the tension involved. I feel this is a lot of fun, a great thriller that delivers on everything it offers.

Final Thoughts Carry On is an edge-of-your-seat thriller.
