When I was asked if I fancied filming an event showcasing Caroline Castigliano’s new 2014 collection (thank you Martin Hambleton for putting me forward) I nearly fell off my chair! I have admired her stunning gowns since I was a young girl, staring up at her Nottingham boutiques window all those years ago. Sadly on my own wedding day I couldn’t stretch the budget enough to own my own but boy did this make up for it (all I need now is the opportunity to be able to wear one…).
Lace Bridal are the exclusive North West stockist of Caroline Castigliano and were the first to showcase her 2014 English Heritage collection in Picadilly Place, Manchester. Wedding people in the know, stylish brides to be and journalists enjoyed Pimms and mouthwatering canapes courtesy of Stable’s cuisine as well as posing for photos in front of the amazing floral displays and flicking through the pages of their very own copy of the new County Brides magazine. Giles Miller set the mood with his singing while the models had the finishing touches done to their hair and make-up…
Caroline Castigliano is known for her luxurious yet classic bridal gowns. The dresses, and anyone who is lucky enough to wear one on their wedding day, look utterly amazing from every angle and you could actually hear the gasps from the audience as each dress took to the catwalk. The models also showcased some stunning jewelry from Green + Benz’s collection and the image below shows off one of the most talked about items, a £30,000 master cut diamond tiara.
