*Grandma did it again
We woke up late on our second day because of the drinking spree we had last night. We stood lifeless waiting for our breakfast when one of the boat man told us that our guide left awhile ago to get our packed brekkie/lunchin the town. Minutes, hours rolled in and by the time we knew it the guide wasn’t still around. We were so hungry at that time and fortunately there’s a bakery near the place where we sleep.Who would have thought that a simple tambay mode in a bakery would be a great distraction to what have been a stressing getaway. It seems last night drinking was still fresh in my mind as we relive the jokes and pleasantries. A throttle from a motorcycle suddenly disrupted our animated conversation. It was actually our guide, looking disgusted and scratching his head.
Kuya Guide: Sir pasensya na kayo kung natagalan ako. We:Okey lang kuya nakakain na naman kami. Kuya:Nag-shoshooting kasi ng Survivor don sa dinadaanan ng mga sasakyan. We:Ahhhh…We didn’t seemed to believed at first until we saw half-naked people with some of them holding a flag of their respective tribe on our way to the boat. You are now forgiven kuya.
The boat halted approximately a hundred meters from the shore and could not take us further because of the low tide. Under the scorching sun we walked from there carrying our packed lunch and cameras to a little hut. The guide told us that the island name is Manlawi. It somewhat remind me of Cagbalete because of the sandbar.
*Huts along the shores of Manlawi
Probably the best BJ I had in years
Starbuko anyone?
*Tall Buko for Red and Coco Frappe for Gaea.lol
Even with the lack of shade, we couldn’t help but admire the place – the sandbar, the hills surrounding it and the refreshing BJ (buko juice). I can vaguely remember how much we paid for the coconut but it’s definitely way cheaper compare to those food cart you see in malls. Most of us stayed and crammed the poor hut while waiting for our buko juice.*Dr. Kurt Connors was a beach bum before he became

endless blue skies, fine white sand -what more could you ask for?
He sells seashell by the sea shore
Not to waste time we sauntered around the whole island to snap some pictures and enjoy the fresh cold breeze rushing through our face. We met a kid who was slightly startled of our presence, he eventually smiled, even talked to us and we felt very much welcomed. We walked a great distance realizing that we needed a sun block badly. The sun was mercilessly beating down on us and that when we decided to back to the hut for our lunch.return to where you came from
So we reached the hut and only to notice that some of the boys are camwhoring on the shallow shore. It’s somewhat unexpected and we laughed at seeing them in silly poses. Eventually I jumped in to joined them. It would probably pass up as the highlight of the entire Camsur trip.lol

*lunch time crunch time
After our lunch we went on to Cotivas (correct me if I'm wrong with the name) but it's the same with the other islands it has a milky white and powdery sands and blue waters. There were some obstacle courses from the Survivor. What's interesting though is we got to chat with the supposed owner of the island.guess who's the owner of this entire island?#coffeanddonutonme
can you see the lighthouse of Lahos Island?
He doesn't exactly look like your average millionaire in suits and tie. But when he drops millions (in dollars) and a hot of the grill news (at that time that Survivor USA engaged with him for the used of his island), we eventually believe that he's the owner. It was an interesting conversation so to speak. We were only allowed to stay there for half an hour and took pictures as many as we can.rough ride
This is where the hard on happenedthe boat slowly maneuvered to the shallow part of the island to avoid hitting the corals underneath
Another boat ride followed and the last island we’re able to visit was Sabitang Laya. I can’t say more of the entire trip - it was another long journey and better way to pass time is to dozed off. It seems that this is the crowded beach so far of all the islands we’ve visited. It has twolong stretch of the usual white powdery sand beaches making them ideal for picnics and camping as well . But what makes it special are the stunning cathedral rock formations which totally blow me away.Stunning rock formations of Sabitang Laya
To make sure we savored every inch of the island we visited we walked towards the rock formations dotting the entire coastline. Wanting to have a better view of the whole island, I decided to climb a part of the rock. It was a rock climbing on bare feet! I carefully put one foot in front of the other, like a calculated step. For a single slip would mean I’ll bump my head in one of jagged rocks.

I immediately handed my camera to a friend so that the straps wouldn’t be a distraction while making my way up to the top. When was able to plant my feet on a flat ground that was the time I stopped. I took a deep breath and my senses were filled with awe looking at the serene and splendid beauty of the island.*the other beach of Sabitang Laya which is restricted for beach bummers

We took a short dip after horsing around and the numerous shutter frenzy we had. As hours rolled on and by the time we knew it, was time to leave the island.
