Car needs significant work.
If any of you know anything about cars, maybe you can give me some hints here.
Tires are worn. I guess I should figure out how worn? Also needs an alignment. Not sure how important that is.
The power steering fluid is very dark and the pump gets weak intermittently. Need to flush power steering fluid ($75)but may need to replace pump ($500) and even rack assembly ($500). Total $1,075 possible.
Strut mounting plates tearing on front end. Recommended to replace mounts ($370). May need to replace struts also ($150).
Sway bar links getting loose. Recommend replace ($168).
Passenger side outer tire rod loose. Recommended replace both ($162). Will need another alignment if done.
Total up to $1,925 possible.
For right now, I am going to flush the power steering fluid and then see how it goes. Any advice would be appreciated.
Also I don’t have the money to fix this, so you pikers probably need to start forking, right? Come on, I know you are loaded! Don’t hold out on me!
