The temperature in the Canary Islands all year round varies little from the 25 celsius, it's never very cold or very hot, so it's perfect for anyone. In the westernmost islands such as El Hierro or La Palma, or even in northern Tenerife, you can see a few clouds from time to time and sometimes a shower, but further south and east, south of Gran Canaria, Maspalomas , Fuerteventura or Lanzarote, one could say that it almost never rains, the sun is guaranteed! Keep in mind that the islands are a haven for relaxation, there are big cities like Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, but our advice is that you rent a rural house near the sea or the mountains and enjoy the nature. There are many agencies that can help finding country cottages in the Canaries, so you won't have any trouble finding something within your economic means.
Also you'd need to rent a car, and although we'd always recommend to compare and contrast, when we travel to the Canaries we use to rely on the local brand Cicar: they offer new cars, cheap prices and they are really trustworthy. No need to waste your time searching or your money on major companies like Avis o Europcar!
