Regular readers know our family loves roadtrips. Recently we went to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario. History buffs and airplane aficionados will want to check them out. Aircraft in the musuem are from WWII to the present. The aircraft are meticulously restored – some to flying condition - and you can watch people rebuilding them on site.
The muesum is large, with displays about Canada’s Military as information about the aircraft, civilian and army life. Everyone tried on helmets, folded parachutes and imagined what life during WWII would have been like.
This was a great opportunity to have history made real.
