Taken during one of the early Aviation Nation airshows with my first DSLR.  The Canadair CT-133 Silver Star is the Canadian license-built version of the Lockheed T-33jet trainer aircraft, in service with the Royal Canadian Air Force from the 1950s to 2005.  Canadair manufactured 656 of these aircraft.  Two features distinguish the Silver Star from the Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star, the use of a Rolls Royce turbojet and the large wingtip fuel tanks usually carried on the CT-133.  Nikon D70s w/70-300mm.
