New Samsung Galaxy Note 5 images have surfaced online as we get closer to the Galaxy Note 5’s rumoured launch date of August 13.

New images starting to surface online have revealed more and more details about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 expected to be powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is the latest version of Google’s operating system at the moment.

A number of tech blogs and websites have posted updated images of the new Android smartphone expected to be launched later this year.

Some leaked photos of the Galaxy Note 5 through MobileFun suggested that the smartphone looks much the same as the Galaxy Note 4 and neither are particularly clear but it looks to be real and shows the phone is running Android 5.1 Lollipop.

According to the report by GSMArena, at least one version of the Android smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM. The website reported that the model number is SM-G928A.

It was put through the paces of Geekbench, and it was caught with that amount of memory on board.

The website further suggested that the sample “geekbenched” is going to be Verizon’s version of Samsung Galaxy Note 5. “For now it’s unclear if different carrier iterations will get different amounts of RAM”, the website reported.

According to TechRadar, industry insiders have claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have a mammoth 4100 mAh battery, as well as a USB Type-C port, a 5.89-inch QHD screen and a slim 7.9mm thick build.
