Verdict on Calm with Horses

Calm with Horses is a crime thriller following an enforcer that is looking to escape his violent life to be closer to his son. This sees him needing to find a way out, while also continuing to keep the relationship with his child’s mother good.

The movie does fall into the typical gangster caught up in a world they are trying to escape from. It does give us an impact on his life, as he must decide what is most important to him. This doesn’t seem to add too much to the already overused story despite having strong performances throughout the movie.

Final Thoughts Calm with Horses is a by-the-book escape-the gang life movie.
