Ajax is holding an Open Day this Thursday!
The event promises to be packed full of awesome things for fans to do and see, all taking place in and around the team's home stadium.
A 53,000 capacity stadium, Amsterdam's ArenA is located on the ArenA Boulevard in Amsterdam's Zuidoost.
There will be plenty to keep fans busy from the start of the day at 11am till the stadium doors open at 1pm.
Then comes the presentation of the players followed by a live practice for Saturday's tournament for the Johan Cruyff scarf. The day rounds off with an autograph section.
Hands-down the most famous player to hit the field at ArenA is Johan Cruyff, who had an excellent career both in the Netherlands and internationally. He's regarded as one of association football's greatest players of all time. Cruyff went on to become a coach (until recently, for Catalonia) and was among the Total Football philosophy's greatest proponents.
Football, soccer, whatever you wish to call it, is undoubtedly Holland's most popular sport. Dutch players are integral parts of teams all over the world. And who can forget when the Dutch national team made it to the final game in the 2010 World Cup? The whole country suffered an orange explosion that could rival Queen's Day.
Ajax Open Day is a perfect destination for the sports fanatic and if you're in Amsterdam this Thursday, you have no excuse to miss it. After all, it's free!
