The never-ending saga of Call of Duty will continue this year with a zombie-infested Black Ops sequel. Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to be released later this year for next-generation consoles.
Treyarch has been working on the title for three years, and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be the first Black Ops game to hit Xbox One and PS4.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare.”
Black Ops 1 and 2 are known as the two most played games in Call of Duty history. The latest title will also include the popular Zombie Mode, as well as Campaign and Multiplayer modes.
