Calgary Finishes American Solar Challenge

By Bertyc @bertyc
Calgary just finished the American Solar Challenge, driving almost 2000 km from Tulsa to Chicago across the United States!

We placed 6th out of the sixteen teams who originally showed up to the qualifier in Cresson, Texas last week. It has been an amazing experience and we would like to offer our congratulations to all the teams who completed and are completing the race today, and a very special thank you to everybody who made our journey possible.
Maybe we'll take a small break to celebrate and we'll be back to work in preparation for the World Solar Challenge in no time!
Again, a very special thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project, including the Schulich School of Engineering, ConocoPhillips, the Antje Graupe Pryor Foundation, EPCOR, Shell Canada, Nexen Canada, and the Haskayne School of Business. And of course, to all of our fans who have been following us and cheering us on, thank you. If you would like to make a small contribution to the team, we invite you to consider adopting a cell.
Have a great summer everybody, and check back soon to see what we'll be up to in the coming months.
