Cafe Review: Posh Nosh, 86 Maryhill Road, Glasgow G20 7QB

Good value cafe breakfast in the West End of Glasgow

If you ever need a picture framed, The Framing Workshop on Clarendon Place is where to go to.   Myself and The Don had just dropped off a picture to be framed and went on the hunt for some tea and sustinence.

We didn’t venture far before we stumbled across Posh Nosh. Posh Nosh

It didn’t look too inviting from the outside, but something pulled us in.

The menu carried the usual hot and cold rolls, burgers and toasties.

Menu, Posh Nosh, Maryhill Road, Glasgow

The inside was clean and tidy.

We spied a price of £5.50 for their Big Breakfast. Sausage, bacon, hash brown, beans, black pudding, potato scone and mushrooms served with toast and tea or coffee.

At that price it would have been rude not to try!

A good basic full breakfast.  The mushrooms were firm, meaty sausage and a good portion as well.  Toast was white bread with lots of butter alongside a mug of tea.

Thumbs up from both of us for here. The only downside were the locked toilets ….

TL;DR

+cheap breakfast

+clean and tidy

-locked toilets
