Back in late May, I was asked, and honored, to be part of cabi Blogger Day 2017. I hopped on an airplane and found myself in sunny Los Angeles for two nights at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach. Cabi Blogger Day took place at the LA-based cabi home office and we were greeted with champagne as soon as we walked in the door. That my friends, is the perfect way to start off a day! We took a quick tour and found our way to a beautiful breakfast complete with a photo booth. Everything was just gorgeous from the flowers to the table setting. It's all in the details, and cabi got the details right!
During breakfast we chatted with the VP of Marketing as well as the President & Chief Culture Officer. I was given a deeper understanding of this international brand and I have to say it is one I am proud to be promoting as a blogger! Check out the video below for the full day recap.
After breakfast, we headed to the design room where we not only got to see the mood boards for the Spring 2018 line (OH MY GUSH!), but we also got to preview the Fall 2017 collection. You guys, it is beyond amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on the pieces I picked out for myself. At this point we found out that later this day we would be participating in a photo shoot styling one outfit that best fit our style using the Fall pieces. So obviously right away my brain went into styling overdrive! ;)
I can't stress enough how amazing every women (and man) I met this day was. They were all genuine, genuinely nice people, and the moral at this company is such a positive one. This truly is a company who's values line up with my own, and I am proud to wear their clothing and support the cabi brand.
Next up, we took a tour of their giant warehouse. All orders go out of here and it was isle after isle of inventory. In other words, us bloggers were like kids in a candy store with eyes bugging out of our heads! ;)
On our last stop before lunch, we learned about The Heart of Cabi Foundation. This is a company committed to helping others and giving back, and I can get on board with women supporting other women any day of the week. What I was not ready for was how emotional I got hearing the personal stories of women who have been helped by this foundation. I was not only touched by their stories, but proud to be in this room as I learned about what they have been doing and how many they have helped over the past 12 years.
