Buzz, Punjabi Bagh - Your Neighborhood Bar

By Maneesh Srivastva @urbanescapades
In the chic inner lane of Punjabi Bagh, Buzz jumps out with its bright, psychedelic facade. The place is surrounded by lavish bungalows with their loud cupolas and cheery balconies.
Nested on the third floor, Buzz is perfect place for drink lovers. Punjabi Bagh is West Delhi’s happy haven for wealthy Sikh businessmen and Punjabi-speaking people.
The ambience is all about showcasing nominal and sober furnishings and motifs. Here wooden work is always praised as it’s in rustic colors of wooden benches and chairs with square tables and sofas. For drinks lover the place serves a wide range of foreign and Indian liquor. A huge range of Beers, Whiskey, Vodka, Rum, Gin, Wine, Champagne, Scotch, Taquila, Cognac, Cocktails and Mocktails are there in the menu to choose. Guest can sink into the corner sofas or sidle up to the bar & enjoy a drink with scrumptious meal amidst serene surroundings. The concoction of ambience, light patterns, music along with a diverse food menu and a wide section of signature cocktails, alco-pops, spirits, beers and wines strike an ideal balance between luxury and casualness throughout. We went few days back on an invite request for the review of Buzz. The menu is big and showcases vivid cuisine like Mediterranean, Continental, North Indian, Chinese, Thai and Italian.

To start we ordered Test Tube Baby and Hot Pants from Shooters and Tukish Style Grilled Chicken on Skewers. The chicken was juicy and properly cooked.  They were refreshing and served the way it should be. The dining journey moves ahead and we ordered Cucumber Mojito and Pure Cinnfrom ‘The Mix’ section. We ordered the Mezze Platter and some mix Dimsums(Veg and Non-Veg)and from Sandwiches we ordered Istanbul Fish Panini and Mediterranean Grilled Focaccia along with it. The fish inside Istanbul Fish Panini was really nice and soft. The chef shared his secret that he used Salmon Fish in Istanbul Fish Panini with some dry herbs. The mezze platter was not as good as it was expected. The main course begins with Chef’s recommendations. From Oriental its Clay Pot Chicken with Steamed Rice from Italian its Pizza Magheritaand from Indian itsThe Perennial Dal Makhani,
PaneerMakhania and Dum Parda Briyani accompanied with Mirch ka Salan and Burani Raita.  I would love to have more cheese in the crusty Pizza and dal makhani lost it’s taste in the dollops of butter. The Parda Biryanii was really nice and MirchKaSalan was perfectly paired with it. For sweet lovers the place serves yummy Classic Tiramisu and Cheese Cake. Last yet quite certainly not the least, the soul of the bar, will continue to be its Music! The resident DJ promises to sync the Music harmonized with the flow to perfection, be it the break of dawn, dusk or twilight. In a nut shell, Buzz is a right place for drink lovers with casual yet elegant decor and its warm ambience adds on to this.
