Butterflies, Recycling and Repetition

By Paperrunway @paperrunway

I would like to introduce you to Rebecca Coles delicate paper artwork (if you  haven’t already seen it) Rebecca creates sculptural art pieces using recycled pieces of paper, from old magazine pages to newspaper and coloured paper. Rebecca describes her work as “focusing on the assemblages of shapes with themes stemming from nature” with the materialisation of creating a three-dimensional decorative from from a flat, two-dimensional element. I can really appreciate this as a papercut artist myself and understand the excitement creating something from such a basic and delicate material.

To keep up to date with Rebecca’s work, you can visit her website here and follow her here on twitter to keep up to date with her beautiful instagram photo updates.
