Butterflies from Central Asia

“I am a mom who likes to do art projects with my son and his friends. I took your smaller butterfly mural and made a cut-out of it and then used it as a stencil on the wall that we were painting it on. I traced two butterflies on it, and then drew squares around it as if it was a paper mural. We then talked about cool and warm colors, and the kids had instructions as to which colors to paint on what side, but they could paint in the squares anyway they liked. I added a black border and then outlined the butterflies in black when they were finished. There were seven children who did this, between the ages of 4-7, so I think it turned out pretty well.
