Buttercream in the Garden

By Danielcarruthers

Individually the flowers of Jury’s Yellow camellia look just like something created out of buttercream icing for a wedding cake. I’m still not entirely sure that I like the flowers en masse, but it does flower so enthusiastically that I can’t begrudge it its moment of glory – after which it returns to its supporting role as an evergreen screen for the compost heap.
