From Hearthstone Brewery in North Vancouver comes their "Burning Bridges Double IPA". The beer pours a deep amber colour with a tan head. The aroma consists of tons of fruit but mostly tropical fruits, caramel, floral hops and an overall sweetness. The flavour is of caramel, citrus, lemon, tropical fruit, mango, brown sugar, resin, earth, medium bitterness and some alcohol. The alcohol content comes in at 9% with an IBU of 130. If you like your sweeter fruity Double IPA's you will really like this one. I quite enjoyed this one for sure. I was surprised this one was not more bitter with such a high IBU.
