Emily Gosden wrote a piece for The Telegraph about Buckingham Palace buying domain names as a precautionary member. Of course the domain industry was a flutter back in July 2013 when Luc Biggs registered the domain GeorgeLouisAlexander.com.
Biggs did a guest post on DomainInvesting.com that he offered the domain to the Royal Family.
Buckingham Palace has bought up dozens of website addresses for members of the Royal Family to protect their online identities, fueling speculation it will launch websites about them.
Online records show that an official at Buckingham Palace registered a series of domain names including countessofwessex.com, theprincessroyal.org, dukeofkent.org and earlandcountessofwessex.com at the start of this month.
One wonders if Mr. Biggs made the offer to the Royal Family if they would now take the domain. The domain is currently parked on Sedo and listed for sale.…
