I've talked about my cousin, artist
Bryson Gill, before, but he's always doing noteworthy things so I have to talk about him once again. He has a new show opening in San Francisco tomorrow at Mollusk Surf Shop and it's on until October 14th. There's a small interview on him on their site where he talks about his approach to each show, and specifically for this show his relationship to the coast and surfing. Initially, I was surprised at this new venue, but I love seeing artists add their own spin to their work and other passions, so this is sure to be a goodie. I wish I could go!
