Bruschetta with Multigrain Bread

Today for you I have an easy breakfast or snacks recipe.This is an Italian dish which I made with the ingredients I prefer.According to wiki bruschetta is a bread recipe where grilled breas is first rubbed with garlic salt and then topped with vegetables,bean curd and/or meat of choice.One simple google search yield you so many recipes for this dish and this particular recipe cought my attention as it is vegetarian and I had all the ingredients in hand.I tried this for dinner and we had quite tasty yet light dinner the other day.This is a very simple recipe to put together which tastes really good and fragrant.Please try and let me know.
Bruschetta recipe-Adapted from simply recipes
Star ingredients: Tomato & Basil
Time:15 minutes
Yield:6.
Ingredients:
6 multigrain bread slices
1 large tomato
1 large green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon oil

Method:
1.Blanch and peel the tomato.Chop tomato and green bell pepper.In a bowl mix vegetables,salt,basil and dried herbs along with oil and combine well.
2.Crush the garlic cloves with little salt and oil.Rub this garlic salt on the bread slices from both sides.
3.Heat a tava and toast the bread slices just for 1 minute.Flip the bread slice and top with vegetable mix and toast for just one more minute.
4.Serve hot.
Notes:
1,Generally thick crusted bread like baguette is used for this dish,but I used normal bread
2.Instead of garlic-salt-oil mixture you can use ready nade garlic salt.
3.You can any salad vegetables of your choice here.
4.Toast the slices for more time to make them crunchy.
