Tara & Rick Got Married!
I absolutely love personalised wedding ceremonies and I have to say in all honesty that Rick & Tara’s outdoor ceremony at Broadoaks in Windermere was one of the most touching and memorable ceremonies I have ever seen. They dispensed with a celebrant and instead decided to stand together themselves and have their friends and family give personalised readings. Then, they made their declarations to each other – written themselves. It was so incredibly moving because it took out all the nonsense – the ‘you must do this’ – and it became what a wedding should be, just two people saying they are going to be together forever. I totally didn’t get a tear in my eye during the ceremony.
This was actually the FIRST of two weddings for Rick & Tara as they live in Oz and had their ‘legal’ ceremony out on the beach in Australia which I am sure was just as gorgeous as this wedding!
