Bright and Easy

I love a good monochromatic look. Not only does it always look good, it is also a  no-brainer. I have been a fan of wearing red from head to toe for years but I never quite thought gray would be my go-to. When you think of gray you might think of prison suits, boring, sad, or unflattering. However, you would be wrong. Grey is chic, easy, timeless, flattering, and quite fun to wear. You can wear it alone or dress it up with crazy accessories. How fun would this necklace be or these ear cuffs? Grey alone or with red are quickly becoming my favorite fall colors (seen in outfits here and here). I know burgundy or, “Oxford Blood” as it is called in the fashion world, is always a go-to for fall trends but this year it is all about grey! Yes, grey! SO go out and find yourself a beautiful grey wool pencil skirt or an elegant gray sweater. You will have so much fun dressing the pieces that you won’t want to go back to Oxford Blood – and let’s be honest, don’t you think that is just about the worst name for a color in the entire naming history?
