Breezeway Block Party, South Bank

By Blondeambition @BrookeFalvey

On Tuesday night, I dragged my favorite foodie Em along for a night of tasty bites and delicious drinks at a Breezeway Block Party in the heart of Little Stanley Street’s strip of restaurants to celebrate the launch of eat South Bank.

eat South Bank has been designed to keep foodies (or those like me who simply love to eat) up-to-date with all the food-focused happenings in the area as well as provide where you can find somewhere to eat, book a reservation, access special offers, read behind-the-scenes interviews with owners, managers, chefs, bar and wait staff and win cool stuff!

“It’s about unearthing those great stories, finding hidden gems and bringing all that’s fantastic about the South Bank dining hub to the forefront, so that customers can drink it all in,” South Bank Corporation’s Retail Manager of Marketing Sam McNaught said.

For two hours, Em and I bar hopped and collected food from Bourbon Street, Hop & Pickle, The Manhattan Line and Tomahawk Kitchen and Bar—located on Little Stanley/Greys streets.

We also ran into a cheeky ex of mine, made some new friends and I, very elegantly, dropped hot dog topping all over jeans!

I’d love to tell you to check out eat South Bank for your chance to win dinner every week and parking every day at South Bank for a whole year (valued at $18,000) or a vintage bike from 99 Bikes, but I want to win, so don’t.

Just kidding. But if you win, you need to take me to dinner or double me on your bike.

Also keep an eye out for the new quarterly food magazine, Nosh, which will hit the streets in the next few weeks Nosh will feature topics such as ‘what’s in season’, food news highlights, interviews with chefs and sommeliers, kitchen stories and food trails.
