Breaking News: Same Sex Marriage Bill Passed in Maryland

It’s a dark day in Maryland for some and a celebratory one for others. Same sex marriage legislation was passed by the Maryland Legislature today. Governor O’Malley has already said he will sign the bill into law but not before opposing forces try everything to bring this matter to a referendum challenge and a vote on the November 2012 ballot. The date the bill is set to go into effect is January 1, 2013.

Ulysses Currie, District 25: NO
