From Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids Michigan comes their "Breakfast Stout" a double chocolate coffee oatmeal stout. The beer pours an opaque black with a brown head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, chocolate, oatmeal and earth. The flavour is of chocolate, earth, burnt coffee, roasted malts, oatmeal and bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 8.3% with and IBU of 60. This is an amazing beer and I hope to get more bottles of it in the future!
Commercial Description: The coffee lover's consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates, and two types of coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.
