Breakfast in the City (Desayuno Con Viandantes)

By Themowway @themowway
It's no secret that those of us who live in Spain and specially on the mediterranean coast, are lucky to enjoy quite nice temperatures all year around. Spanish people find it very hard to organize social events indoors (I think is because they're so loud..), so even during the coldest months of the year there are activities in the open air. This Facebook group called "Desayuno con viandantes" (Breakfast with pedestrians), get together once a month and have breakfast in a nice place in the city! Isn't that a really cool idea? I backed some banana and chocolate choco-chip cupcakes and we had fresh orange juice in our favorite mugs. We enjoyed the experience although we weren't able to meet many new people. Most people already knew each other, so it was a bit harder to start a conversation, but I will be attending more breakfasts with this group and will try to overcome my shyness trying to talk to at least 3 people. For those who wonder, yep, I set goals to myself at social event in order to encourage myself not to be so introvert and to make an effort and meet new and interting people! (you should try chalenging yourself every now and again!). This the happy-face Nino has each time he has one of these cupcakes. They are SO good. Yum. Before anyone starts to wonder, these photos were taken in June (or so), before summer, that's why I look SO scary pale. As ussual, I had misplaced these photos, so when I found them the other day I decided to share them although they were quite old! What a mess I am in general.. The group chose this location, which is near the world famous "Ciudad de las artes y las ciencias" (see photos here). It's a huge bridge created for a new tram line which is not working (no idea why). The really cool thing is that the actual bridge is covered in fake grass! This hat.. boy do i love it! I wear it soo often! It looks really cool (and I say so myself) but it also keeps the sun of my face almost completely! His & hers. No words can be used to describe how much I enjoy backing these amazing chocolate bombs... and they don't have as many calories as you think! There was quite a big bunch of us! Here is a better view of the famous buildings I was telling you about. The place was really beautiful. Fun selfies! Little memories which help us recall the good moments in life. :)
