Boots and Hearts

“The Emerging Artist Showcase is so close to our hearts as part of the vision of the festival and in our third year to have received almost 250 entries from across the country made it a challenge to select only eight finalists,” said Shannon McNevan, Executive Director, Republic Live.  “One of our favorite parts of the festival is being able to give these emerging artist a glimpse of what’s possible for them while they share the stage with some of the biggest acts in the world.  This is a unique opportunity to showcase their talent in front of industry leaders, compete for a chance to perform on the main stage in front of 35,000 fans, work with Big Machine Label Group Canada, spend a week in Nashville to hone their craft, and work with industry experts to build their entire portfolio as an artist with photo shoots, media training and much more.  We are proud to be able to create a platform like this for country music in Canada with our partners SiriusXM Canada and Big Machine Label Group Canada.”Republic Live, organizers of the Boots and Hearts Music Festival, announced their Top 8 Finalists for Emerging Artist Showcase presented by SiriusXM Canada earlier today.  The final 8 include Trinity Bradshaw, Brea Lawrenson, Ty Baynton, Sea Perry, Chris Henderson, The Command Sisters, Kaitlin Kozell and Runaway Angel.  These artists will be competing for a chance to perform on the Main Stage at Boots and Hearts on Sunday, August 3rd, before Hunter Hayes, and win a single release with Big Machine Label Group Canada.  Fans are invited to vote for the Top 8 Finalists at www.bootsandhearts.com/showcase which will determine their placement in the performance line up when in front of a panel of judges at the SiriusXM Front Porch Stage at Boots and Hearts on Saturday, August 2, 2014.
