Marvel made it official today: Bradley Cooper is the voice of Rocket Raccoon. He’s done the comedic stuff, but I always felt he was just a pretty boy with a voice to match. I’ve never thought of Rocket as a pretty boy. I’m not going to say that Cooper isn’t a good choice, I just don’t immediately think, “yep, perfect” like I did when the Vin Diesel as Groot rumors started. Time will tell, but it does nothing to damper my excitement for this movie. Now, somebody needs to find a clip of Bradley Cooper saying, “I’ll kill you” with a picture of Rocket and maybe, just maybe I’ll finally see that he was a great choice.
