Boys and Frogs Do It in the Road [buzzsession]

During their recent trip to New York City, Arizona-based band Boys & Frogs took the time to stroll the streets of Greenpoint/Williamsburg with me until we finally settled on an isolated dead end road.  With New York City (and a barbed wire fence) as their backdrop, the band played “A Child Cries” and a medley of “Old Tribes” and “Manners” which was sung in French.  Watch the videos and snag the free MP3s below.

As always, special thanks to Derek Eads for another amazing illustration.  For more of his work, click here.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie.  With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
