When it comes to that gross post-snow slushiness and the cold in general, all I tend to care about when it comes to fashion is being warm (I learned from my last post, alright?). Sometimes, the oversized layers pile on and on and before you know it, you have a "boyish" feel goin' on. But truth be told, who really cares what you're wearing beside you? All that matters is that you're nestled up in your oversized, grampa-style sweater, spunky moto-jacket, go-to winter boots, and a cozy knit beanie. And how could I not address the minor hair cut I had? I'm not really one to embrace the cliché "new year, new me"phrase, but never say never, right? I've been growing my hair out for the longest time (with a few trims along the way), so this was quite the venture for me. I know chopping off two inches of my hair isn't going to transform my life or move mountains, but as my friend Isabella of Views of Now said in her recent blog post, long hair is often used as something like a security blanket to mask flaws/insecurities. However, with my "blanket" of hair gone, I say let's go a bit shorter! Woohoo! I don't know what has gotten into me, haha. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know what you guys think of this whole short hair idea. xoxo
