Box Office Predictions: ‘Woman’ Won’t Impact Much

The Woman In Black 2 opens this weekend, but without Daniel Radcliffe, an without a new star to replace him. This starless film is hoping people liked the first, because with a 27% on Rotten Tomatoes, they won’t be coming based on word of mouth. The only thing working in its favor is counterprogramming, as there isn’t a scary film currently in wide release. The closest competition it has is The Babadook which is in limited release.

That leaves a bunch of holdovers to do strong business for a second weekend. It’s time to catch up on some movies!
