Description/Synopsis:

Garrick Taylor and Bliss Edwards managed to find their happily-ever-after despite a rather . . . ahem . . . complicated start. By comparison, meeting the parents should be an absolute breeze, right?

But from the moment the pair lands in London, new snags just keep cropping up: a disapproving mother-in-law-to-be, more than one (mostly) minor mishap, and the realization that perhaps they aren’t quite as ready for their future as they thought.

As it turns out, the only thing harder than finding love is keeping it.

Review – MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

Oh my god I loved this book.

It brought back all the memories of the first one. I think I started smiling from the first line.

One line that really has nothing to do with the story whats so ever but reminded me of the first one heaps and I was so glad that it was mentioned was the cat Hamlet.

He closed his eyes and leaned into my hand the way that Hamlet did when anyone but me was playing with her. Stupid Cat.

So classic.

Sometimes when I read spin offs or short stories about characters I already loved in a different book, I worry that they will not be the same in the one I am about to read. Luckily though Garrick and Bliss where exactly like I remembered them. I need to go back and read the first one again cause I love them so much. They were just as funny and fun and I remember. Oh and poor Bliss, still such a clutz. When she broke that pricey vase I could have died for her. The poor poor creature.

I also thought that the story line picked up in a very realistic place to where the last one ended. They have moved in together and now they are going to go meet Garrick’s parents for the first time. Add in the extra stress of thinking that you might be pregnant with an unplanned baby, just think about how crazy Bliss goes. Its so great.

Some people call these books cliche or cheesy, but I need these things in my life every now and again and I love these books for it. I suggest these two books for anyone who needs these in their lives sometimes too!

Till Next Time…
