Summary: One choice can transform you--or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves--and herself--while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable--and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.
My Thoughts: I'd been waiting on this book for so long after reading Divergent, the first book, so I'm so so excited for this review. I literally tore through this book, well not literally,  but I really read this book. Fast. And so, I originally bought this book on my Kindle because a lot of sequels have not lived up to the first book for me, like PANDEMONIUM, THE SECOND LIAR SOCIETY BOOK. For examples. And so, then I realized:

I need to read this on paper. I NEED AN ACTUAL BOOK.
So I went off and Target did not have the book and I didn't feel like driving all way to the nice Walmart to get the book or even the freaking Barnes and Noble because it was so far and so I just waited and when I got to school, I went and got it.
And let's talk about this book, this book is beautiful. I laughed, cried, laughed again, I threw my book across the room, then picked it back up and petted it. I answered no calls, no texts, nothing. THIS BOOK WAS MY LIFE. And then all throughout this book there's action, there is romance and everything is perfectly told. We got the story built in the last story, so we've got our story built, we've got our characters built, now its the story getting me hooked. And boy, I WAS HOOKED.
The different factions were amazing. In the last book, I got a sense of them, but now they'r e put into depth and I find that beautiful.
The scene in Candor when they're being interrogated. It is so intense, but it is also SOOO BEAUTIFUL.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY!And Amity, Amity! Totally not what I expected. And the factionless even play a role in this. And I actually like the death in the book, it makes it real. Death is real, although it is sad. Although it could have NOT happened. I actually enjoyed it. I don't know if that makes me morbid or not. Another thing, I really wanted Peter and Tris to just make out already. BUUUUUTT we know its not going to happen, like EVER. I just I don't know. I think I'm weird. And in Amity, I found it hilarious! And Tris was basically drugged. I liked that. I was cracking up and smiling. And when these beautiful things happened.  I really enjoyed this book. It was wonderful and I cannot wait for DETERGENT!!!
And as all my friends say, I need to go to bed. Bye!
