The a specialized version of the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 132 (VAQ-132), the “Scorpions”. The EA-18G will replace the Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowlers in service with the United States Navy. Only 117 of these versions were built and, as of 2014, the end of production appears certain.
