This was one of my test shots using the back-button focus technique, with the intent that focus can be maintained more consistently up to shutter release. This Triple-7 heads into the afternoon sun, winging to Dubai from San Francisco. This route ranks as one of the world’s longest non-stop commercial flights. Nikon D7000 w/ 80-400mm, processing with Aperture.
