China Southern became one of China’s “Big Three” airlines (alongside Air China and China Eastern Airlines).  The logo of the airline consists of a kapok flower (which is also the city flower of Guangzhou) on a blue tail fin.  First flown in 1994, the 777 is the world’s largest twinjet and utilizes the largest-diameter turbofan engines of any aircraft.  China Souther operates 10 of these extended range 777-300 aircraft with eight more on order.  Nikon D500 w/ Tamron 150-600mm.
