A KLM jumbo taxies by the new SFO control tower. This will be a rare sight after the airline replaces their remaining ten jumbos with Boeing 787 Dreamliners in 2021. The 747-400M is a passenger/freight or “Combi” variant that first flew on June 30, 1989 and entered service with KLM on September 12, 1989 with the last one delivered in 2002.
