A KLM jumbo taxies by the new SFO control tower.  This will be a rare sight after the airline replaces their remaining ten jumbos with Boeing 787 Dreamliners in 2021.  The 747-400M is a passenger/freight or “Combi” variant that first flew on June 30, 1989 and entered service with KLM on September 12, 1989 with the last one delivered in 2002. With close to 700 produced (1988-2009), the 747-400 is the best-selling model of the Boeing 747 family of airliners.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
