This Alaska Airlines 737 is seen climbing out of Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, wearing the current livery unveiled in January 2015, the first major update of the Alaska Airlines livery in over 25 years. The longest model of the Boeing 737 series, this is the largest variant of the Boeing 737 NG line and was introduced to meet the range and passenger capacity of the discontinued 757-200. Alaska operates 79 of these extended range models in their fleet. First flown in 2006, more than 400 of these extended range Next Generation 737-900’s have been built. Nikon D500 w/80-400mm.
