An Alaska 737 gets ready to touch down on SFO runway 28L while KLM flight 606 begins its long flight to Amsterdam.  Alaska has 61 of the -700’s in their fleet while KLM currently operates 11 Dreamliners in their fleet.  With a typical capacity of 280 passengers and a range of 7,635 nautical miles, the -9 is a stretched variant of the -8 base model of the 787 family and entered service in 2014.  The 737-800 is a stretched version of the 737-700, filling the gap left by the decision to discontinue the McDonnell Douglas MD-80/MD-90 following Boeing’s merger with McDonnell Douglas.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
