Medawachchiya Police on Sunday night found the body of a retired Army personnel who was wanted for arrest for alleged sexual abuse of an 08-year-old girl, from a paddy field. Investigations have revealed that the 8-year-old girl had been offered sweets by the 47-year-old retired soldier from Rambewa Dunbidunu Wewa, before being abused.Initial Police investigations have revealed that the soldier had gone to a paddy field in Ikirigolla, in Medawachchiya and committed suicide by swallowing poison
