What inspired you to start your own blog?

It was actually my friend that suggested it, as she thought I might enjoy writing a blog. I had zero knowledge about blogging back then.

How important is the name of the blog?

I think it is important, as it is these small things that create the whole image of you and your blog. It is good to come up with a good, memorable and catchy name.

How difficult is it to find a blog niche?

Well, the problem most people have is that they try to be like somebody else, and they do not want to admit that maybe they should not do it. It is not such a big problem, as you get over this hurdle and say to yourself that you will really show who you are and what is specific to you.

What is the best way to promote and grow your blog?

The best ways are word of mouth and talking about your blog with friends, family, work colleagues, and then social media. I would definitely start with Facebook, as most people are on Facebook, and you can then set up the rest e.g. Twitter, Instagram!

What is your main audience and how did you reach out to them?

My audience is actually quite mixed, but mainly it’s women in their twenties from Czech and the UK. I’ve built this up over the last six years.

How important is it for your business to attend fashion week?

It is definitely a good place for networking, and it can be fun so you actually combine the two. It also depends what markets you target. If you know your readers will appreciate it, then it is definitely a great experience, and you will create some great content out of there.

What are the best tips for building long-term relationships and partnerships with brands?

Stay in touch and be professional, and that is my advice in any business. If you deliver a good service, clients will remember you.

What is the biggest challenge about running a blog?

I would say for most people is keep going. Lots of people give up too soon if their traffic is not as high as they want.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to start a blog today?

Do it for fun and nothing else. If you do it with love, the rest will come.

What are your ultimate plans for your blog/blogging career?

Sky’s the limit. I’ll go where the wind takes me.
