Bo Jackson relinquishes $21 million judgment in extortion lawsuit against niece and nephew
Former professional football and baseball player Bo Jackson is dropping a $21m judgment against his niece and nephew after accusing them of harassment and extortion. A judge ruled in Jackson's favor in the lawsuit he filed against Thomas Lee Anderson and Erica M Anderson in April 2023. The ruling included a protective order barring the Andersons from contacting the Jackson family. After the Andersons did not participate in the case, a new lawyer filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. Jackson, his niece, and nephew reached a private agreement, resulting in the judgment being vacated. The Andersons must stay away from the Jackson family and not contact them.
