The sky is filled with clouds most of the time but somehow there were lots of grassy weeds in spite of the lack of sunlight. I had to spend some time pulling them out from the pots. It's an endless job in my garden, yikes!
This little Azalea sent out a sizeable flower again. Though hiding inside the little bush, I was still able to see the whole bloom as the flower was big...
Here is one huge surprise from my garden! I thought I will never see another flower from my Rose of Sharon, Hibiscus syriacus, since the plant is always not flourishing well. This week I spotted two very promising flower buds on the shrub!! Glad I re-located the plant earlier. It must be liking the new location :-)
My Jasminum sambac 'Grand Duke of Tuscany' released a pungent smell but the flower lasted only a day this time. The rain came and went, then the sun was just too harsh on the flower, hence it spent quickly.
The Oxalis regnelli 'Atropurpurea' bulbs have not been productive for a long time already. So, I am really glad to see lots of purple leaves and blooms filling the pot once again. They look marvellous and could really brighten up a rather gloomy day.
And here it is again, my loyal orange Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. Love to see big ones forming, yay!
And my Lemon Ginger (Monocostus uniflorus), its flower is as loyal and as bright as the hibiscus.
Close-up view of the trumpet-shaped bloom with white pollen grains on the flower...
The red colour is so brilliant and deep that I can even spot them from the road ;-)
These Forever Roses® roses are spent now. They lasted for more than week!
Hope your day is full of sunshine. Have an amazing week and keep gardening!
