The True Blood premiere is just mere hours (47 at the time of this post) from our viewing pleasure, and you know what that means. The return of Eric and Sookie to our screens… and the official start of our second season of Bloody Predictions!
This year we are doing things slightly different from our last game. Evie has decided she would like to sit this game out and cheer us on to victory! This means we have invited our friends Missie and Carissa from Our True Blood Fan Club to join in the fun! So are you ready? Let the games begin
For those of you tuning in for the first time, here is how we play “Bloody Predictions”.
- Each of us will lock in 3 predictions to be posted by the Friday before the show airs.
- For each correct answer 5 points will be rewarded. If the prediction is close but not quite their partial credit will be awarded with 3 points. If we were dead wrong… well… *mimics the Soup Nazis voice* NO POINTS FOR YOU.
- If it is to close for us for us to determine ourselves, we will turn to you in our “Challenge Booth”
It’s a simple game that brings out the competitive nature in us all.
Before our predictions are publicly locked in, let us check in to see how we are doing with our “Pre Season” predictions.
With Evie’s withdrawal from our competition, I (B) am currently winning the preseason tie break with Erika and Nymerias as I correctly predicted the season would premiere on June 16th. Of course this can all change when our last 2 Pre Season predictions get answered on Sunday night. Missie and Carissa’s answers to the remaining Pre Season questions will be shared prior to the premiere.
*cracks knuckles*
Are you ready to get bloody? Here are our predictions for this week.
Nymerias:
- Sookie stakes Bill in defense of herself or someone else.
- Pam and Tara get it on when sitting on the beach
- After escaping the Authority and Bilith, Sookie pukes on Eric’s shoes.
B:
- Eric and Sookie will share more screen time together then they did from the first half of S5
- The episode will have more screen time for the vampires then were/shifters
- Luna dies
Erika:
- Sookie will stake Bill in defense of Eric.
- One of Billith’s new powers will be that he is now telepathic too.
- Eric, Pam and Tara will have a happy family reunion after leaving the Authority’s headquarters.
Missie/Carissa:
- Luna dies.
- Jason kills a vampire.
- We find out something about Sookie and Jason’s parentage.
What do you think? Do we have a chance in hell of being right or have we lost all of our marbles? Granted some of our predictions are a tad on the silly side. This is due to “certain” spoilers about the first 3 episodes that were making the rounds online.
Like the show.. the game must go on… and it’s about ready to be “bloody”
