Last week I was invited to a pizza party at the newly opened Peter Pizzeria in Leisceter. I’ve been to their flagship in Loughborough before and really enjoyed their sourdough pizza so was looking forward to trying it again! The event was organised by the lovely Annie – you can find her blog here and it was a great night meeting fellow bloggers from all realms of blogging and also chatting to some companies as well. I loved the decor – it was really quirky, and comes complete with superhero graffiti on the walls, a games room and toilets that are disguised a little sheds!
The menu is small but perfectly formed – check out all the yummy sounding toppings below.
We tried a huge antipasti platter to share amongst us, then the lovely staff bought up pizza after pizza off their menu for us all to tuck into, so we could try a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed the pizzas, my favorite being the the Tomato, Ricotta Fresca, Salami, Pistachio and White Truffle.
Even though we were stuffed we also had to try their signature dessert pizza with Nutella! Needless to say this was divine.
I really like Peter, and am glad they have expanded their little empire – its certainly somewhere I would head to again when over in the East Midlands.
Disclosure: The food at Peter was free of charge for the event. I was not required or asked to write about the experience. All opinions are honest and my own
