You may have noticed lately that Thread and Butter seems to be changing direction. It is something that has happened naturally and wasn't planned. When I originally started Thread and Butter back in 2011 it was purely based on the crafts that I was creating and I used it as a platform to sell my items. However, gradually I have become more of a lifestyle blogger documenting my general musings. I enjoy reading lifestyle blogs that have a mixture of design, crafts, art, fashion, beauty and stories so I think this is where I have been inspired. It has been a natural change and I am happy to keep going and see where the wind takes me. I am still passionate about hand made items and illustration, but instead of focusing purely on those subjects this blog will be more about the life of a creative.I am really keen to keep up to date with the blog and am hoping to update regularly. I've noticed that a lot of daily bloggers use techniques such as scheduling posts and organize posts in note books before publishing them online. I've even seen a few bloggers that use white boards to plan their post routines. I'm going to see if doing more planning will help me fit more blogging in around uni/work/placement. What techniques do you find help you in blogging?
